Coach Dee will teach the core lead skills step by step for youth climbers who are comfortable on top-rope or auto-belay but have not led before.
This workshop is for any youth climber who wants to learn lead—not only competition climbers. Ages 15–16 are welcome for general development too.

Coach Dee helps youth climbers build strong fundamentals, safe habits and confidence on the wall.
Participants who meet the assessment standard receive BFF's Kids Leading verification, allowing them to lead climb at BFF Climb. This verifies lead climbing only; lead belaying is not included, and this is not SNCS Level 2 certification.
Competition entry is separate; this workshop supports preparation and does not guarantee selection or results.
If you do not pass, arrange another verification at BFF Climb @ Tampines Hub when ready.
Rental shoes and harnesses are available at BFF Climb. Parents do not need to stay onsite; guardian consent is required.

No. This workshop teaches lead climbing only. Lead belaying is not included.
No previous lead experience or SNCS certificate is required. Climbers should be able to climb 6a+ on the highwall and be familiar with top-rope or auto-belay.
The verification is assessed during the workshop. Participants who pass may lead climb at BFF Climb; it does not certify lead belaying and is not SNCS Level 2.
Bring climbing shoes and a harness if available, plus a water bottle. Rental shoes and harnesses are available; socks are needed for rental shoes.
